    Default Harris Bi-Pod

For bench shooting at paper (no moving targets, sadly) - swivel mount or normal style?

The swivel mount is nice, but if you're only going to be shooting from a bench, then you don't need it.

Assuming the bench is level......which many are not at my range. It can be a pain to adjust the legs to get a gun without any cant.

I always buy the swivel mount.

That's a good point. I didn't really take that into account.

It's definitely worth the extra money.

I have both and find the swivel more useful all around but the fixed does what it is designed for perfectly well.

swivel is best choice for bench and field, its definitely worth the cost unless you are shooting from a perfectly level fixed platform like pavement or concrete block.

I’d go with the swivel too.

Thanks all. Wanted to make sure that the swivel wasn't the source of annoyance.
