You are supposed to get a letter saying it's ready for pickup.

Sparks is correct. You will get a notification letter in the mail. Take it with you when you go to pick up your license.

Lol needed a lol moment @ they screwed up. I was just confused I see some folks say post card, and others saying they send letters, and do they have to take your picture again, , Sombody said that in a different post?????

For all I know the OP thinks you need a license to purchase a gun.
