ya i got some od cerakote left from one of my last paying cerakote jobs so i think i will od it . btw thanks all for the help . i feel like ill be able to intelligently pick a barrel to suit my build needs . hopefully ill get some pics out when i get under way

I use Black Hole Weaponry barrels.
Very good match grade barrels.
In 5.56 they are 1:8 twist polygonal rifled.
I have a 18" mid length that shoots 1/2 MOA at 100 with a 4x scope.
I got a 7.5 on order for a pistol build.
They are about 1/2 the price of the others mentioned here
At surplus ammo right now they are giving away a free aero precision upper with each barrel.

I used a BHW barrel on mine, but I can't attest to anything but the quality and appearance as it has not been shot. Very nice finish and nice tight fit into the upper I used.

I've read some pretty damn good reports on it too.

Who makes their blanks? I spoke about this the other day but forget, was it pacnor or lothar-walther?

From everything Ive read they dont buy blanks. If you google it though it says they used lilja blanks but all those posts are older.

Same things I read. I saw a blurb about a possible European supplier, but that was it. No details or anything hinting at a name.

how bout BCG . obviously gonna use the heavier shrouded m16 type .whats ins and outs . i see all this new nib-x coating and slick this and that coating .
