Another Legal Question-Handguns
I know there has been several threads like this, but I think this is a tad different.
Back in the 70s, when I lived in NJ, I was friends with a bunch of LEOS. I bought 2 handguns from one of them. No paperwork. There is a Hi Hunter "Six Shooter" .357, and a .25 semi auto. This was a small town, and I doubt the guns were stolen or there are any body's on them. But I have no idea who, if anyone they will come back to.
Is there any way I can check them out, without sticking my neck in a grinder. Or can I legally make them legal with no risk if there is something bad in their history.
Thanks

Re: Another Legal Question-Handguns
They are legal, you're in PA and there's no registration
End of story. IMHO
5th amendment for the rest
