for shooting with gloves (thick winter gloves). you can take the tip of a bullet and use it to push the button and swing the guard down.

no. with no barrel its not even a complete gun. legally its not even considered a rifle yet. just a lower receiver. once it has a barrel though, then its a rifle (or an SBR if you went short).

You beat me to it. Short Barrel Rifle. No B no SBR
Now the button thing on the trigger guard makes sense. I just don't ever think I will need use it. Nice to know it is there.
