If you are in WV like it says in your location you would need to send the lower to a ffl there, they aren't the same as transfering a rifle where you can do it in either state.

yea but my dad lives in washington still and i think i could have him make the jump to an ar with a cheap lower. building something on your own is a fantastic way to get into modern sporting rifles.

These lowers seem to be a great way to build up an AR without a companies gigantic rollmark all over it.

Again, thanks for doing this...really appreciate it. For those who whine, set up a bulk purchase yourself or stop complaining.

The cheapest I know is Gettysburg Trading Post at $25, but you would probably spend that on gas unless you are heading out to the battlefield.

The links say the prices are good until April 6. Thinking about ordering one myself.

I was just looking for somewhere to do a transfer in Washington and found a guy on the gunbroker find a ffl page I mentioned earlier that does them for $20. Check out that page, doesn't get much cheaper.

Agree with building them, I built all of mine and it's a good way to get to know how they work in case of a malfunction. I had help with the first one but after that I just used the sticky articles on the arfcom site. Haven't done an upper yet, just used complete uppers, but that's next.
