223 loud? Nah, my .22-250 is loud! Remington Model 700 SPS Varmint, Dad's is identical in .223 and is not nearly as loud as the 22-250 is. 14 hogs to my name so far this season, not bad considering I'm in Jersey...

It's not necessarily the 223, its probably got more to do with the muzzle brake

took my personal longest at my farm last sat. 195yds with my 17hmr and had an exit wound. so the 17 will do its job past 150. wind was l2r at 5mph about 1/2 to 1/4 value. only aimed a 1/2" into wind and drilled that pig!!.....................................fuggin sweet!!!!

took the gf fishin yesterday and we spotted a few more targets...she said i can't shoot babies, only when they get big and ugly can i shoot them, i said but the youngins are a smaller target, more of a challenge.. got the hairy eyeball. anyway what she don't know..........heheheh

I got a small one the other night, the ballistic tip messed it up pretty good. It was sitting in the hole when I shot, when the bulllet it hit him, it picked him up and flipped him out of the hole

got one friday under my feet with the 7mm 110tnt's cut her in half. and b4 that got one at 10 steps withe the 91/30 in the throat, it jumped 2' in the air!
