Re: Obama's anti (legal) gun Surgeon General nominee
Agree. The problem is that there are so many issues that should be the least of our worries, like the Surgeon General nominee for chrissakes. Who really should give a damn?
But progressives have invaded every aspect of society in such a broad and insidious manner, that even the most inane issues are now becoming all- important to the big picture and to our survival as a nation. The front is so broad and all-encompassing that it's not enough to try and stop them from advancing everywhere, there must be a drastic rollback at some point.
Unless we go on the offensive, I'm afraid we've lost already. Look at Common Core. We're stopping it in many places, so what do they do? They simply rename it something else and keep plodding along, with the help of high profile Republicans like Mike Huckabee cheering them on.
The Supreme Court rules that Corporations can participate in political campaigns, so what do they do? The IRS harasses and stonewalls conservative political groups before the 2012 elections, and when they get caught red-handed, they simply codify that very same type of harassment into law, just in time for the 2014 and 2016 elections.Last edited by TSimonetti; March 12th, 2014 at 09:49 AM.

Re: Obama's anti (legal) gun Surgeon General nominee
Another interesting call into radio talk..last week...a woman from I believe New Hampshire reported she and her husband had received notice from the federal IRS that their 2013 return was being audited.
Here's two interesting facts she mentioned:
1- They have not yet filed their 2013 return!
2- They gave a donation to a Republican candidate.

I've never seen that question on a medical evaluation form. If I did I would be looking for a new doctor in a heartbeat....
What gets me most about this nominee is that he's only about 36 years old with only 8 years of medical experience. Doesn't exactly sound like surgeon general material to me. Cronyism all day long.
