I stop in there anytime I am in the area; always found friendly, knowledgeable sales personnel and good prices. Worth going out of your way for.

Ive stopped in a few times, never really bought anything besides a gun cleaning kit but thats the life of a broke college kid. Very nice staff and happy to talk about upcoming firearms ect. Prices are fair on all but .22 but they probably paid more for them so the prices went up to the customer. At least they usually have a stock when I go in.
Stupid kills. (But not often enough to make a real improvement.)

I bought a gun that Ed's put up on Gunbroker. Mike answered my emailed question rapidly, bad I decided to stop by the shop today to pick it up rather than spend extra to gave it shipped to me here in Harrisburg. A friendly young lady ran me through the paperwork drill professionally and rapidly.

The shop seems well stocked with new and a variety of used weapons and a good selection of holsters. The ammo shelves were not full, but few are these days.

Overall I my experience was very positive. I feel I got a fair deal and was treated very well.

Ed's is great. I bought my Remington 1911 from them and they have great customer service. Since it was my first 1911 they ran me thru the drill of safety features and recommended a good cleaning kit. Now a days I stop by about once a couple of weeks to look at the used shotguns and rifles they have. Great shop and friendly staff.

I've made a few purchases and sales with Ed's. I make it a point to stop in anytime I am in Tamaqua, and have always been treated with respect and honesty. Very knowledgable staff and good prices.
