    Default Hi Point Handguns

I just came back from the Wind Gap gun show. Someone had two Hi Point semis,

a 9mm and a S&W .40. They were $200.00 To me that seems damn cheap. Something does not seem right.

What is the deal with Hi Point?

Oh Yeah. They had .22LR there. $15 to $20 for 100 rounds.

I thought they were only $170 or so?

Not sure. There's another current thread on Hi-points. I suspect this will turn into a clone of that one.

about right for the 40, a little high for the 9. They are cheap because they are a super basic no frills handgun. I like them personally.

Local shop has them around $170. I personally had a bad experience with a full size 9 and got rid of it long ago. They do have a lifetime warranty though.

Biggest weak point is their magazines. Other than that they are very reliable and fairly accurate. They ain't gonna win a beauty contest but will get the job done. I have the 9mm pistol and the 995ts carbine

$200 is a good deal on a hi-point? Did they come with a 26" flat screen TV?

No, only a Dremel tool with Hi Point specific attachments. The TV comes with the carbine models.

I have the 9mm. It goes bang and puts holes in the paper where I aim and it is certainly better than no 9mm. I love shooting, even if it's with a $150 hunk of ugliness.
