Re: Scranton Gun Show - 600 Tables
Is this really going to be 600 tables? Track record speaks for itself I guess.

Re: Scranton Gun Show - 600 Tables
For Jaeger Arms, 600 tables means, "There's space for 600 tables; we have 100 booked."

Re: Scranton Gun Show - 600 Tables
Ah...what the hell. The spawn have an indoor soccer game in Scranton late tomorrow afternoon. Maybe I'll drag the little mooksters along. It's good for them!
Besides, for some reason whenever I hear someone say a show isn't that good, I always find something that I like. It's the "good" shows that I walk out empty handed from.
Me and the girls are always on the prowl for a new knife
ETA: Hell yeah, we're going! The gun show is right next door to the soccer field. How conveeeeenient!
I wonder if the coach would mind me walking in to the game carrying an EBR?Last edited by Sandcut; March 21st, 2014 at 10:52 PM.

Re: Scranton Gun Show - 600 Tables
What a great show...........if you like Hi Points.
Man, pickin's was slim. There were lots of tables. Problem was that stuff was spread out fairly thin on them. It was essentially most of the same folks from the show in Hamlin firehouse. There was about a dozen AKs in the whole show. WASRs could be had for about $670 which is way down from where I was seeing them at Split Rock after the first of the year. Considering there wasn't a whole lot of guns in general there, there was a decent supply of ARs. IIRC, there were some Stag Arms in the $800s and some brand I didn't recognize in the <$700 range.
I did see an Auto Ordinance mil-spec 1911 that I'm thinking of buying for my dad that I got a chance to look at. The only problem is that one of my LGSs has the same firearm for $190 cheaper.
There were a large number of knives, but except for some Moras, I only saw maybe 3 that were decent and they were pretty pricey. The one guy looked like he either made most of his or bought them at Salvation Army and put new handles and sheaths on them.
Elder daughter bought a shemaugh and younger daughter bought some art. That was the highlight of our trip.Sed ego sum homo indomitus
