Question on Luzerne LTCF fee
I have a Luzerne County LTCF, issued last year when I lived in Wilkes Barre. I now live in New York State and have changed my name (divorce), so I need to get it updated. Will they treat this as a new license (with the $20 fee) or a re-issue ($5 fee)? They only accept money orders, not cash, and don't seem to return messages left on their service asking this same question.
I've got an unrestricted NYS pistol license, so no issues there with the non-resident PA LTCF. Just trying to figure out ahead of time what I need to bring with me, it's a bit of a drive for me (two hours) so I only want to do it once.

Re: Question on Luzerne LTCF fee
you're best bet would be to call them, only they could tell you the absolute fact of what they would charge.

Re: Question on Luzerne LTCF fee
I've called multiple times, they don't answer or return messages. Guess I'll give email a shot.

Re: Question on Luzerne LTCF fee
Just an update, the Sheriff did answer my e-mail within 24 hours and directed me to the appropriate Deputy to take care of me. He said they would re-issue free of charge, which surprised me, maybe he got divorced once upon a time and I got the pity points?
Will be going in next week with the relevant court papers and documentation of my move, so expect to have this resolved very shortly.
