7.62x39 Deals and Information
First of all, there may or may not (I have no intentions of "fear mongering") be a run on Russian ammo soon. Who knows what effect, if any, the current relationship between US and Russia will have on ammo prices of the affordable Russian/Ukrainian steel cased bulk ammo we all love.
So with that in mind, if anyone has any 7.62x39 ammo deals or information to share with PAFOA please post away.
Also feel free to share any info on the quality, reliability, etc of the deals shared. Thanks!
I'll go first.

Re: 7.62x39 Deals and Information
Got an email "product back in stock" notice for Golden Tiger in stock at SGAMMO.com. It is $234/1000rd case, and some of the best bulk ammo I have run. I'm willing to pay a few more cents per round for this stuff, and its a decent price. I just picked up a case as well as a case of the Brown Bear soft point at $149/500rd case.
Here are the links to both. BTW - When I got the notice just last night there were 600 cases in stock, as of 7:17pm there are 16 cases left... So yeah, 584 cases overnight, maybe there is a run coming.

edit: I just refreshed and the stock went back up to 106 cases, so who knows.Last edited by MagRelease; March 5th, 2014 at 08:21 PM.

Re: 7.62x39 Deals and Information
Earlier this week Jerry's Sports Center, a wholesaler in Scranton / Wilkes-Barre had over 100 cases of 7.62x39. Hours later, they had 11.
If anyone is starting to think about a run on Russian steel cased ammo, they are already late; the supply train's left the station.

Re: 7.62x39 Deals and Information
It's in stock everywhere online for $0.21/round, so if you are concerned go buy it up.
I'm more worried at 5.54x39. I don't shoot it, but I just feel good knowing there is $0.15/round true surplus left out there for something.

Re: 7.62x39 Deals and Information
Grand Total: $233.60 after shipping from ammunitionstore for 1000 rounds.
I personally find that to be about $30 too high, but who am I to say what you should be paying?
Here is my last order of 7.62x39 - this deal is no longer available but is my baseline for purchasing the ammo. When this deal was available I posted it on here and it sold out within the hour of me posting it.
Here is my last order from agsarmament which is a great shop and I highly recommend.
It's 20 cents a round which comes to $4 a box of 2. Add this discount code "MEFIRST" and you get 10% off your order.
Here is my order.
QTY ITEM DESCRIPTION UNIT PRICE LINE TOTAL
50 WPA-7968 Wolf Military Classic 7.62X39MM 124GR FMJ, 20rd. Box 3.95 197.50
SUBTOTAL $197.50
SALES TAX $0.00
SHIPPING (FedEx Ground) $26.86
DISCOUNT $19.75
TOTAL $204.61
So $204.62 for 1000 rounds shipped to my door 11/1/2013.
