I have Returned! New Bike ;)
Dang. I have been so busy lately, and haven't had much of a chance to come on to the forums.
I've started a new job, moved, and bought a bike since February -- the whole 'work' thing is sucking up most of my time.
Anywho, I got a 2007 Yamaha R6s, and I've been loving it. I'm thinking of packing the Glock and HK in a backpack, riding up to the mountains sometime, and going shooting.
Anyone know any good spots?

Nice bike! I want the same one but probably couldn't afford an 07. Where'd you get it?

Not a huge fan of the R6 (I'm too big, they're too little. The predecessor, the 600R is more my size) but congrats on the buy. Remember to keep the shiny side up.

What's it cost to insure one of those? Nice ride, BTW.

Depends on your insurance carrier, age, driving record, where you live, etc.
I have a 600cc supersport, I'm 22, live in a lower crime area, and pay almost $900 a year for full coverage, $500 collision deductible, $100 comprehensive, and I have a clean record.

Re: I have Returned! New Bike ;)
Well I'm 21, have an at fault accident from when I was 18, have a few tickets (2x failure to obey traffic control device, 1x speeding - 60 in 45).
I pay $240/yr for liability plus comp (1k ded.). To add collision on there would make it over $2000/yr.
I'm glad the insurance company things I am going to crash.
Not to mention, with the low-fuel light on, it costs $14 to fill her up, and depending on how I drive, that could last me 7 or 8 days (and I commute on it to work every day, unless it is raining when I wake up)
