    Default 1911 sights

    Anyone near the Philly area that puts on 1911 sights. Everywhere I go they tell me anywhere between 2day or 2 weeks and I dont want to wait that long.

    Not trying to be a jerk, but why not just wait the two days? It would be done by now ... most of the guys I go to up around the Lancaster area won't do it same day but it's almost always done in a week or less.

    Not being nasty here either, but a week or so isn't that bad. Do you have the sights?

    Yeah, anywhere you go, you're going to have to wait. Even two weeks isn't bad. If you are willing to wait contact Sean at CDI, its worth the drive.

    Everytime ive had night sights installed, they did it right there when i was waiting and this has been at various shops...granted i bought the sites from said shop

    yeah I have the sights, I might just drop them off and get it done and wait 2 days, it sucks its my bedside gun. I have a back up so I should be fine
