Simply adding a green grip doesnt count but a green grip with a picture of a zombie or radioactive symbol are ok? I never got the whole zombie thing. This thread might be better suited for the "gun pictures" forum. Thanks for starting a fresh thread though.

The radioactive grips on the Sig 1911 are pretty cool... but if I had a 1911, I'd want classic wood grips on it (or black plastic, for when I want to be tacti-cool).

I think the zombie thing became popular because everyone got tired of teenage vampires filled with angst and attitude. Zombies are so much simpler. After that, the fad spread.

This is a "radioactive" or radiation-hazard symbol, which has nothing to do with zombies:

This is a biohazard symbol, which is universally used concerning zombies:

In my opinion, a zombie gun is only a zombie gun if it meets certain criteria. Like:
    1. Caliber with low recoil for quick follow up shots
    2. High capacity like the PMR30, FN 5.7, SIG 226 Tac-Ops, etc. 15+ rounds minimum
    3. Easy one handed operation- ambidextrous controls if available.

Just cause you add zombie to the name doesn't make it zombie-capable. Since it hasn't been determined if zombie's still see in color, maybe florescent green isn't the best color choice. ;-)

I knew that, really I got them muddled. The color of the grips is "radioactive sludge green" and my brain decided the symbol must be the same
