Concealed carry seminars

I am currently working 2nd shift so I can not attend one of the seminars. thought others might be interested,

The concealed-carry seminar set for March 6 at the Dallas American Legion is full and registration is closed.

State Rep. Karen Boback, R-Harveys Lake, said that because of the overwhelming response, her office is looking to schedule a second seminar in the Back Mountain area. Anyone in Luzerne County interested in attending a seminar may contact Boback’s Dallas office at 570-675-6000.

Boback and state Rep. Sandra Major, R-Bridgewater, are hosting a concealed-carry seminar 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 20 at the Factoryville Sportsman’s Club in Wyoming County.

Maybe a good seminar, maybe not.

I find it coincidental that Karen is having these seminars now. For the first time in quite some time, she is going to not have a free ride back to her PA House seat. She will face an opponent in November.

This is a great way to get out in from of voters without having to expend campaign funds. I would bet a few boxes of ammo that she stumps not only for her re-election at this seminar but possibly for Corbett's as well.

Or, perhaps, I'm just a jaded political cynic.

Called yesterday to sign up...the lady said only a few more openings in factoryville so they were going to open a third seminar in dallas TBA....I put my name on the wait list.
