NCCSC membership

I'm looking to join a club that is family friendly, offers NRA classes and is laid back. I did some research, and although I live very close to LPRGC, everything I heard about NCCSC has me wanting to join.

I have a question about joining. Do I need a sponsor, or can I join if I just show up at the next Monday meeting. If I need a sponsor, is there anyone on the forum willing to sponsor me?

Also, I would be interested in any feedback on NCCSC.

I did the same thing (I live in West Norriton) and never once regretted it. My wife and I love NCCSC and their instructors are really great guys (Paul and Dean Barr).

Membership is easy: just show up to the meeting and pay your membership fees.

Was just up there today... Most snow is gone. Still some and a lot of mud. Lots of folks up today.

Was at the range today, showed up around 0915 and had both the 25 and 50 yd range to myself. Great place to shoot.

Is that commonplace or will it start getting pretty crowded and hard to get a lane? I'm thinking about joining.
