    I am looking for a gunsmith that has worked on the Springfield M1a, I am having trouble with the scope mount .

    Maybe you should post this in the Gunsmithing section of the forum, and someone might be able to help. What problem are you having? I can tell you that if you are planning on using a cheap mount, don't waste your time and money. There are really nice mounts for both the scout/SOCOM models, and the older style for the standard models. None of the good ones are cheap that I've seen.
