Re: Southern Lancaster County Farmers Sportsman Association
You beat me to it, RugerNiner! Thanks for listing the show. For anyone who hasn't been to this show, at 95 tables it's not a huge show, but it's a good show.
There's free parking, good food (some folks come strictly for Leda's home made Apple Dumplings) and there's always a lot of good stuff to be found at this show.
The address listed is 742 Hollow Rd, New Providence, PA, but if using a GPS to find the show, use Quarryville, PA instead of New Providence.

Re: Souther Lancaster County Farmers Sportsman Association
Anyone know if all the tables will be full of vendors?

Re: Southern Lancaster County Farmers Sportsman Association
I was talking to the Gun Show coordinator on Saturday, and it looks like all tables are spoken for. Unless there are any last minute cancellations (like last show due to an illness) all tables will have vendors.

It is a nice bike ride except for the stinking cold weather.

Re: Souther Lancaster County Farmers Sportsman Association
IMO....Complete waste of time. I should have learned from the last time.
Mostly junk, what little that was of interest.....priced way to high.
Almost like a bunch of guys cleaned out their basement and moldy gun lockers, put it on tables in a way too crowded room,
then said lets cram 150 people in this building and see what sells.
The most money trading places was in the parking lot. Lots of open trunk deals......do yourself a favor and skip this one.
Congratulations to those of you that went and actually found a deal. I went when it first opened, but saw nothing interesting.
P.S. please people.....start taking showers and wearing deodorant.Last edited by Tin Soldier; March 8th, 2014 at 04:31 PM.

Re: Souther Lancaster County Farmers Sportsman Association
I went and got a couple great deals on odds&ends I needed, didn't expect to find any good deals on guns or ammo.
I wouldn't recommend going tomorrow though, it looked like everything decent got sold today. Ditto on the crowding, I couldn't believe how packed it was.

Re: Souther Lancaster County Farmers Sportsman Association
I don't know what you guys were looking at, but I came out of there with a NPM high wood M1 Carbine stock with good cartouches for $60 and a Springfield 87M / Ranger 101 (M1 Garand-style .22 trainer) for $275. Both were great deals in my opinion.
It was definitely crowded though...
