Dunhams in Gibsonia Now Selling Handguns
As of a couple days ago, the Dunhams on Rt. 8 in Gibsonia has started carrying handguns.
To me, it seems like a decent selection. Three cases -- S&W, Sig, Glock were well represented, mostly semi's but a good number of revolvers.
I haven't been price shopping handguns lately but I felt their prices were a little high, not the worst I've seen. They were definitely high on the M&P 40c in the case. They do, for most other things, tend to run a lot of "sales" to correct prices as needed. I did see that the Sigs were already on "Sale". Maybe that 40c will be on sale soon.
Bottom line, it's great to see a retailer (who is not Dicks) adding handguns to their inventory!

Must be trying to compete with the Field and Stream over in Cranberry.
Hopefully means more of them will start soon.

Re: Dunhams in Gibsonia Now Selling Handguns
A manager for Dunhams told me a couple years ago that one of the local stores (Gibsonia or McIntyre Square, can't remember) sold the most guns out of any of their stores nationwide. Glad to see they're holding firm and even expanding gun sales, unlike Dicks.

Re: Dunhams in Gibsonia Now Selling Handguns
The one in Natrona on Freeport Pike has been selling them for a few months. Prices are higher than average, and they don't take trade in firearms, but they do sell pistols now.
I handled a few of them a few weeks ago, and couldn't get a proper feel with the trigger lock on, and they won't remove it or change to a slide cable style lock. That's a shame, because that's the main reason why I won't buy from them...that and the fact that they have a no return policy on all firearms."A free people ought to be armed."--George Washington

Re: Dunhams in Gibsonia Now Selling Handguns
The Dunhams in Chippewa PA, Beaver County is now selling handguns as well. Saw it for the first time Yesterday, the 6th, and I stop in there about twice a month.
Of course the Handgun counter is only a few weeks old at most and already some know it all gun shop "that guy" was regailing everyone unlucky enough to be within ear shot with his massive knowledge about all manner of handguns. Is there some law of the universe that you can't have guns for sale with know it all asshats lurking near them?
