Attention! There has been an influx of scammer signups!

The method of operation is to private message you and tell you that you should contact such 'n such person at a given email address.

Please report the private messages. Staff will ban the offender, and I will implement an IP ban. Unfortunately these scammers are using VPN/proxy services, which may mean your VPN/proxy may be blocked.
Attention! About VPN's and foreign IP addresses.

When signing up, do so from a US based Internet Service Provider. Turn off any VPN/safe-browsing feature. Failure to do so will result with your new account denied.

If you run into a IP ban afterwards as a member, again - turn off your VPN or switch servers. We do not ban legit Internet Service Providers from the USA(exception for certain individual IP addresses). Free VPN's tend to get banned too. We try not to ban legit subscription VPN services, but they rarely label their IP blocks correctly.

If you run into an IP ban, it likely wasn't you.

OC at Outdoor Show

Saw only one OCer at the show yesterday. Anybody else attend while OCing? I was CCing but had heard that OC would not be permitted. I hadn't been there for over twenty years, but seemed like a pretty large crowd to me.

We saw 2 OCers, of course beyond the game commission officers and other on-staff officers.

We were both CC, thinking the same as you did. Usually I CC in a large crowd like that, anyway.
