Trop Gun New Indoor Range
Son and I got to go to the soft opening for the NEW Trop Gun Indoor Range. Being a western Lancaster County resident it was sweet to go to such an awesome indoor range when the weather was 9*. Twelve state of the art lanes with a ventilation system that kicks a**. Thank you Trop!

So what are the rules?
Can you bring your own ammo? Or are you forced to buy theirs?
Can you bring your own targets? Or are you forced to buy theirs?
Caliber limits?
Costs?
They don't have any info available on their site.

Re: Trop Gun New Indoor Range
We are launching the range to the public on Monday February 3rd. All of the information is listed on the range page of our website http://www.tropgun.com/indoor-range/
To answer a couple of the questions.
- You are absolutely welcome to bring your own ammo, including reloads. There are some restrictions listed on the webpage (steel core, AP, tracer, etc). If you rent a firearm from us then you will have to purchase the ammo for that rental from us.
- You can bring your own targets but they must fit within the designated target backer.
- Max caliber will be .44 Magnum for handgun and .308 for rifle. In the future we will be looking at opening limited windows for large caliber shoots.
- Prices, hours, procedures are all listed on the web page.
We look forward to seeing you all on the range. As we roll into full use, look for training programs, competition, and a whole host of special programs.

Great! I need to head over and rent some handguns for sure.
What guns do you have currently to rent? Really looking to test a Glock19 & a XDs 9 & 45.

Re: Trop Gun New Indoor Range
This is how I will probably use the Trop range. Rent a gun I am interested in buying to try out at the range. For shooting my personal guns will wait out the real cold weather and/or limit my shooting time in the cold.
So I am also very interested in what guns are presently or will be in the near future available to rent.

Re: Trop Gun New Indoor Range
We have a large and ever growing inventory of firearms for rent. The selection is deep now and will see significant expansion in the long gun and NFA categories in the near future.
We do have Glock 19's and Springfield XD's for rent. We also just added a Glock 42 to the rental counter. Otherwise we have a selection of handguns from subcompacts through a CZ Czechmate and most categories and manufacturers in between.
If you have a particular firearm you are looking for give our Range Rental Office a call at 717-367-5585.

RANGE FAQ
…
Do I have to buy ammo at the range or can I bring my own?
You may bring your own ammo, however we do not allow steel or aluminum cased ammunition to be used on the range. We do have ammunition available to purchase as well.
…I am not a lawyer. Nothing I say or write is legal advice.
