.270 Winchester Suppressed???

Okay,

Specwar 7.62 can has been purchased. Wondering if it makes any sense to take my Howa 1500 chambered in .270 Win. get it threaded and use this gun with the 30 Cal. can???

If it is a heavy enough barrel to be threaded 5/8x24 then I say go for it.
I'm not too familiar with the Howas tho.

A 270, like a 308 or any other super sonic round will always benefit the shooter to be suppressed. It will deff take the bark off the report but you will not eliminate the physics of the speed of sound.

My thoughts as well. I really Enjoy this gun and is shoots sub MOA, I realize that I will still have the sonic crack, but I am just hoping to get the most use possible out of my new .30 Cal Can I am sure there will be a threaded barrel .308 in my future, just wondering if anyone else has suppressed a .270

ALso if you are getting your barrels threaded where are you sending them for this type of work??
