Default Anybody have the Shield Apex trigger upgrade?

the shield is really nice to carry, but being a trigger snob, striker fired triggers blow.

tell me if it's worth the $85-

I can't comment on the Shield but the Apex kit I used in my Sigma made a big difference.

Same here - don't know about the Shield, but it was definitely worth it for my M&P9 & 9c.

    Same here.

I've heard that recent versions of Shield and even the M&Ps have much better triggers and resets out of the box.

Shoot and dry-fire the hell out of it. If it still isn't what you want, the APEX stuff is great.

    I agree with this

dry fireing it in my case did really help a lot.but if you want to be cheap way or want to keep the current trigger weight you can polish the hump on the trigger bar that contacts the safety plunger as well as the safety plunger it self. it helps take out some of the grittiness of the trigger. I do love the apex triggers though. I have them in three other m&p's.I'm just to cheap cheap to drop the cash on the kit for the shield at the moment. also I do not claim to be a expert or a gunsmith so do this at your own risk if you choose.
