After reading the article something doesn't seem right

Officers say they found one shell casing at the scene and believe the gunman used a revolver to fire the shot. Investigators reviewed surveillance video from the exterior of the athletic center to determine if it captured the shooting.

No one...police are probably wrong. I mean anyone who has watched any detective show on TV should know you don't leave evidence at crime scenes...and revolvers are great for this when it comes to shell casings. I wasn't at the scene though.

Not unless it was dropped on purpose. Probably a semi cartridge to fuel the fire or throw off the investigation. Either way doesn't sound like it would have been implemented by your average street thug. Possible for a college educated "supplier" or an agenda payoff.

Could be, but I went to Widener and off-campus violence is commonplace in that area. The athletic center is not on the main campus and secluded, so you either have to walk about 1/2 mile through Chester or drive. My dorm room window in my Junior year had 2 bullet holes, it faced I-95.

Do you honestly feel that she is safe going to school there? I drove through campus to work at Crozer Chester, and it's nice. However, it's surrounded by a lot of nasty shit.....

Is there some understanding between the local thuggery and the police or school that keeps the shinanigans off campus?
