Has the Montco Sheriff's office stopped sending out LTCF renewal notices?

I realize he's not wrong. I've never received even a post card in the times I've been up for renewal. I'm up again this year, I doubt I'll see one.

The powers/duties fall to the deputy sheriff. How seamless that transition is effected is another matter.

How much, if any, of the LTCF process is the sheriff involved with anyway? Mine isn't even actually signed by the sheriff...it's a printed signature.

I am just saying that it's an unknown.
I would say it could be more of an issue for NFA forms

The most labor-intensive duty of the sheriff is to conduct an investigation of the applicant. The second most labor-intensive task in the process is the maintenance of the records associated with the investigation and issuance.

As in any organization, when a new administration comes to be there is a shakeup both in the priorities of the organization and a meting out of the resources available to it. Where the issuance of LTCFs will fall in the new office's priorities remains to be seen.

Thank you for the rapid response to my question. I was able to find a renewal form on the Montco website, and I'll stop on my way home from work some time in the upcoming couple of weeks.

He suffers the wrath of gun forum members posting about how he should follow the law.
