Does Ups know you ordered Ammo?

I was wondering about this earlier, would he just give you a box but he doesn't know what in it and might have you sign for it or does the box actually tell him that its bullets and he needs to see ID.

I kind of don't want people to know I am having Ammo sent to my house, so I always wondered if UPS ect would know what they are actually giving you when it comes to buying ammo online. Because if they indeed have to have you sign or see ID then wouldn't they know what you ordered or is it confidential?

Basically want to know if the person giving you your package knows whats in the package or does the ammo come sealed up.

So, let me see if I have this right, you're worried about a delivery driver knowing you have ammo, yet, since you can't afford a LTCF (according to another thread) and you plan to OC, you don't care if they see you OC.

Yup! They know. My UPS guy asks me where I find the good stuff and the best prices, since he has been delivering to me for years. We often talk about shooting and reloading and ammo shortages so on. h Yeah, he's probably CIA or something. wink

I put the blue ORMD sticker on my customers box. Under contents I put the product number and number of boxes. Example 100 rounds of Ranger 9mm would read as 2 RA9T.

Unless the delivery person was familiar with that brand of ammo he could only guess what is in the box.
