Sesame Place
We're planning on a trip to sesame place but I was wondering if anyone has had any good/bad experiences carrying into sesame place? Do they allow concealed carry while in the park or not? I guess the only other question I could ask is do they have metal detectors at the entrance? Thanks for your help.

Re: Sesame Place
I would have to ask why you'd want to carry into Sesame Place.
Just seems wrong.
It's not as if it's Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ.

Re: Sesame Place
Though I don't ever feel I need to justify carrying a weapon for defense of me and my family, I think I will. I feel what is really wrong is to think that bad things don't/can't happen at good places which, as history has proven, is incorrect.
It is also a 3 hour drive for me and I'd also like to carry while driving, unfortunately there is no secure place for me to store it once there.

Re: Sesame Place
Concealed = hidden from view.
If they can't see it, nobody will get upset.

Re: Sesame Place
I Feel the same way.... My wife said , "Your not going to carry if we go to the mall are you?" .... Thats exactly where stuff happpens , of course I am.... Just because its a park does not mean anything will happen..... They DO NOT discriminate locations..... There have been shooting in Church's for Gods sake.... and someone with a gun in the church stops it. I also agree just keep it concealed .... If you have to use it your not gonna care what kind of sign they may or may not have.

Re: Sesame Place
Odd thing to say.
What is wrong about having a self defense tool someplace that your kids are?
This is an example of the negative stigma that the gun has, even for some gun owners. There simply is no realistic reason that carry in Sesame Place is any different than carry in the grocery store, or the park, or ....

Re: Sesame Place
I said "just seems wrong."
Meaning that, to me, Sesame Street (yep, I remember the very first episode), Sesame Place, Big Bird, Burt & Ernie and The Cookie Monster should be able to be enjoyed without having to feel the need to carry.
Sad, ain't it?
