Default If you could only have one .380 which one would it be?

I am (kinda) in the market for a .380 pistol. I have wanted something in that caliber for a while now but I always bought guns I "needed" instead. I think it's time to finally start looking at buying one. Like I said I don't really "need" one, I just want to have a gun in that caliber in my collection. I have looked at everything for the Ruger LCP (which would be the only one I would carry seeing how I already have a Kahr PM9), Walther PPK, Sig 232, Bersa Thunder, etc.

I want to hear your opinion on the one .380 everyone should own. Thanks.

Beretta 85FS. I have one, and really like it. They also make a double stack version the 84FS.

If you strictly just want something in your collection just for the sake of owning a .380, then I would think the PPK would be the one.

For Connery it was 7.65mm (.32).

In Octopussy, actually carried a 9mm Walther P5, not a PPK.

In Skyfall, Q very specifically said that he was supplying a PPK chambered in "9mm Short" (i.e., .380).

Since this is just a 'for fun' gun, and there is no specific purpose that it needs to fill in your arsenal, I'd say: yeah, go with a PPK.

I would wait and see the Glock 42.

I have had a couple of Kel Tec P-3AT's but mostly because I found them for $100 and I could not pass them up. I do keep getting rid of them because I hate shooting them and any gun I do not shoot does not stick around long.
