Re: Sig Sauer P320
Uh I'm not feeling it myself. Since the classic line of P220 series pistols was refined and updated by the 1990's, Sig has been launching all of these random pistols at the market to try to get something to stick to the ceiling and it just isn't happening.

A Republic, if you can keep it.

Re: Sig Sauer P320
I don't even know what that is. I'm sure a quick Google search would tell me, but I can't be bothered by that. Looks like a P250.
Ok I did it anyway. So basically a P250ish system, all the modularity and caliber swapping you could want with a better trigger system? I'll bite, if Sig can be remotely reasonable with the cost, which is doubtful.
Ok I looked some more.
MSRP of $713, sounds like a hair short of $600 on the street. Knock a hundred dollars off that and the trigger really is that good you'd have yourself a legitimate plastic Sig, ie Glock competition.Last edited by rwb1500; January 19th, 2014 at 10:55 PM.

Re: Sig Sauer P320
It does share parts with the 250. I think Sig is trying to save this design from oblivion. Sometimes evolution of a design and working out the kinks does the job, we will see. It could either work well or sink without a trace.

Re: Sig Sauer P320
I would like to see the 250 line die out. Sig makes quality handguns and rifles, when they make them out of metal. I am a huge fan of Sig but i think they are devaluing their brand with these polymer frames. They will never be Glock, nor should they be. I like the fact that their metal guns are 800 to 1000 dollars.
I figure they are trying to compete in the LE market but i think that ship has sailed long ago.

Re: Sig Sauer P320
Yeah, they seem to be sacrificing their classic design to appeal to the mass market, including the striker fired crowd. So many companies in every industry do that to try to gain market share, but they often alienate their loyal customer base by trying to be everything to everyone. The result is often failure to do anything well. It's a shame.
The 250 seemed to be a venture into mass market as it was priced lower than their other models. I think many were not impressed, but surely they sold to those unfamiliar with Sig.
