Default Need help deciding on a new pistol

Worked a lot of overtime last week and I plan on buying myself a new gun because I can.

I've narrowed it down to 4 guns.

XDs 9 (figure for a summer time carry gun)

Glock 19 that is Nib-x coated (this one intrigues me and I like the way it looks)

    Glock 20sf (I had a 20c that regret selling and a 20 once before)

    Glock 29 (I like 10mm lol)

I cant make up my mind, any opinions?

If you are planning on carrying/shooting them:

Which one fits your hand best?
Which one has the sights you like best?
Which trigger do you like best?
Which one are you most accurate with?

If this is to get rid of the OT $, send the cash my way (:P). Seriously, though, which one would you be kicking yourself for not owning 10 years from now?

Carry gun, range gun, or both? Why not consider something all metal? The Glock, XD, M&P Conga Line is kind of getting boring. How about a CZ? They make all steel, and also lightweight, aluminum alloy framed guns, as well as polymer if you have to have plastic.

And then there is the Browning Hi Power, and 1911.

The 1911 is not as hard to conceal as one might think. I have been carrying one for several months now. I use a Galco Summer comfort. The only thing I dont like about the holster is that it doesnt have leather all the way to the hammer!

As of now my carry gun is a glock 23c. I recently purchased a fns 9.

I like the way glocks feel and I prefer the xds over the m&p shield.

If I got the xds or g29 they would be carry guns, the others would be range guns.

Id love to have a 10mm 1911 but that's out of the budget right now

Not on your list but have you ever held / fired a CZ75 PCR / P01?

I have a XDS 9mm for my summer/pocket carry gun. I got it back just before Xmas from the recall they had. Trigger has a lot to be desired. Nice and compact yet isn't too small like some real pocket pistols like the LCP.

I have a G26 that I have been carrying a lot lately. I love the 10 rnd mag with +2 base. 12 rounds in a nice little package!

Most of my guns are 9mm, except my 1911 and Ruger MkIII. I like to standardize the calibers so stockpiling is easier. So that may affect your decision. I also have a G19, so my mags can be used in both G19 and G26. Makes stockpiling mags easier too. All other handguns I try to have at least 5 mags per handgun.

Depends on what you want/need more. You could go for the new Glock 42 as it is a single stack like the XDS while keeping with your preference for Glocks. Though it currently only comes in .380. They should have released a 9mm first to be more competitive with other single stack 9mm in comparable size. (ie Shield, XDS, LC9 etc) I have not held the G42 yet, so I can not say if it feels like a Glock or not.

G19 would be very similar to your G23, so very little transition to learning a new handgun.

1911 are not difficult to conceal, I occasionally carry a 1911 Commander, but they are HEAVY for standard steel frame 1911s.

The Sig P320 has peaked my interest though. Not that I am going to go out and buy it, but an interesting new Sig model.

So again, it depends what you want/need more. A very concealable gun, a new handgun that does not require a lot of new training with, or standardizing your calibers.

I shot a mag out of a cz75 iirc. It shot nice but didn't catch my interest that much.

That's something I forgot to check was the recall for the xds.
