Default Cobray M11 - Zytel vs. Sten magazines?

Was curious as to if anyone here has any experience/opinions on what is the better choice when picking up a Cobray M11/9, the version that takes the Zytel magazines, or the version that takes the Sten magazines. They both seem to cost the same (the gun anyway), now I'm just wondering what is the better option. Thanks for any insight!

throw the zytel mags away. go metal or go with the sten version. in a semi it is probably not as critical but a f/a gun will eat the zytel mags alive. recon ordnance has a converted metal mag that works great in either s/a or f/a. keep in mind in a f/a gun with a stock you need to have the stock out to use the recon converted mags. happy shopping as metal mags are available either way you go.

centerfire systems has a 20 pack of sten mags for $99, they suck to load but with 20 mags you won't have to load at the range

The Plastic mags will split at the top after heavy use. Go for the Sten mags and you wont be throwing good money after bad! If you do have any of the Plastic mags dont leave them loaded. That will just speed up the process of self destruction.
