    Default AR Pistol Short Stroking

Got a friend that built an AR pistol and it just isn't working for him. He's done so much that now he is just confused. I'm going to look at it for him but I have no experience with them.

Where is the best place for comprehensive info on AR pistols for info about gas tube length, buffer weight, buffer spring, BCG, etc.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I'm wondering if he doesn't have the gas block hole aligned correctly (thus not getting enough pressure back to the bolt).

I'd imagine AR15.com would be your best bet to ask questions.
They have sub forum specific to AR pistol...
