Longwood Gardens ?
Headed to Longwood Gardens and was wondering if anyone has carried there? Do they have metal detectors?
I searched the forum and found nothing on this which was pretty surprising. Usually there is a thread about most places.

Re: Longwood Gardens ?
I went to the Christmas display a couple years ago, nothing in the way of signs or metal detectors that I recall.

Re: Longwood Gardens ?
I was there a couple of days after Christmas. You pay (or show your membership and ID), and walk in. The Christmas display is impressive. You'll want to be there after dark to see the outside lights. It takes a couple of hours to walk through the inside displays.

Re: Longwood Gardens ?
Lot's of indoor gardens and displays, the place is heated. I've only ever been there in March when I took these pics, and in December for the Christmas displays. The grounds were impressive in winter only in that you could look around and imagine what it must look like during it's peak season.
In case it needs saying, the temp, humidity, and the smell of this place in the middle of winter is almost worth the trip on its own.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

I forgot about the bonsai trees.
It's been a few years since I went but they did have some really old ones.
