Ridge & Valley Gun Club members-2014

Hi,

First time poster but long time gun owner. After years of living in this area and not shooting much I'm actively looking to join a range and was hoping I could find someone to sponsor me at the Dec 17 meeting next week. I'm an Army and Iraq veteran so it won't be my first time on the firing range if that helps.

That's great I appreciate the offer. I should be able to make it up there tomorrow. Even if you can't make this months meeting I've been waiting awhile, another month won't hurt anything. Will I be allowed to shoot tomorrow since I won't have an application in yet?

Yea I hung out until about 1 and left. At least I got to check out the ranges and the building. Talked to Fred for just about the entire hour. He said you need to be at the meeting and that they aren't accepting new members until the January meeting.

They need to figure out how many people renew before Dec 31st before they let more people in.

This year is the first year there is no extended period to renew, for members if were not renewed by Dec 31st we lose all time acrewed and start as a new member again. So i think a lot of people are going to forget to renew and be SOL, allowing some new members to join come Jan.

Why i suggest any members reading now to get it done NOW!!! Renewals open up in October and there has been plenty of warning about this cutoff this year. Would hate to see some long standing members get the boot over this.

With all the notice that has been put out, u definitely DESERVE to. No excuse and no sympathy.
