That's the reason my soon-to-be wife wants to see one so badly. She loves shooting the G19 & G26 but finds them too bulky to conceal. Her shooting hand has some ligament damage and most mini 9s have a little too much recoil for her. If she likes it, she'll have it.

What I'd personally like to see is a Glock in 32 ACP about the size of the Diamondback DB380. Function and reliability of a Glock with it still being a pocket pistol.

For that matter, why not a true Glock mimicking both the DB380 and DB9?

I mean, Diamondback practically gave them the patterns (which Diamondback stole from the larger Glock's).

I love pocket pistols and I do enjoy Glocks, but there are so many other better choices than this in 380, me thinks.
I forgot how much I missed the slang from the 70's and 80's: "Bite me, dig?"

Walther PPS is perfect. However, I think Glock definitely can bring out a slim 9mm that can compete with it, which most likely get billion sales out of it because they have a stronger brand.

Thinking this over, I'm not surprised they released a .380. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BUY IT! Then Glock will release a single stack 9mm and the same people who bought the 380 will buy that too, in addition to non-Glock 42 owners buying the new single stack 9mm. If Glock came out with a single stack 9mm, and then a .380, I doubt their .380 sales would be very high (e.g. the LC9 and LC380).

Naaa... My PM9 stays. Maybe if Glock came out with a single stack 9mm or .40.

I think Glock should have just made the 25 and 28 in Smyrna to capture the .380 market niche of wanting higher capacity .380's.

They should have gone single stack in 9 mm or even .45 to compete with the likes of the XDS.

Who am I to say though? Glock has made millions on their guns. I'm sure they'll sell a boat load of them just because they're Glocks.

the g42's are already shipping and in stores, just read tanners sports center had two come in this week. they had a picture of the 42 next to a ruger LCP 380 and the glock is substantially larger. price at tanners was $415 but theres already a waiting list. if the g42 was the same size as a kahr p380 or SW bodyguard i'd be all in.

I got to handle one last night. It feels and looks smaller than the advertised dimensions. Pocket carry would be no problem with it for me. I may consider one for my wife in the future.

I love Glock and I have been looking at different .380s to buy but I don't think this is in the runnings. It's cool that they are making .380s now but my Kahr PM9 is smaller than it and holds the same amount of ammo.
