    Long story short, the LCP will now be offered with a stainless steel slide option starting February 2014.

    Hmm. I've had one with a slide like that for 3 years now.

    I believe that was a limited edition model that had its slide brushed in stainless by Talo. Now Ruger is offering the slides in stainless, built by their factory.
