    If someone were to have a van, and park it in one of these neighborhoods and set up a sign reading," $50 cash for your old gun", I wonder what a collection you would have at the end of the day?

    I have a Bryco .380 that needs a spring. It's not worth $50. Can I go to any Phili police station and get $50 for it?

    Let me throw this out there.
    A LEO's house gets robbed, his/her service gun is stolen, found out later to be a murder weapon. What happens now?
    That is the next step, then they go to the UK scenario where only very specially trained "firearms officers" handle guns so nothing bad can ever happen.
