My guess would be $25. Stay away from Gun Traders, they charge $50 per handgun transfer if you don't buy the firearm from them...

    Where is Chris Miller Studios?
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.

Don't know about their "store", but here is their contact info:

Berks Firearms seems to be the cheapest in the area, but I haven't used them.

Another +1 for Rob Horst @ Firearm Solutions.

Thank you for that! Never did a transfer at either place. SA really? $50 for a transfer? What are you taking after Gun Traders!!?? Might not be going back there anymore

Charlie Miller is a super nice retired serviceman. I use him a lot, plus he is only 5 minutes from my front door.

Can't speak personally on Rob, but a few of my buddies really like him.

Can't say for sure about current prices, but here is what SA told me a couple months ago regarding stripped lowers. $35 fee (total) covered up to 4 lowers at a time. I still paid $25ea because I like dealing with Jeff Little.

I used the Hamburg Cabelas when I picked up my XDM from one of the members here. It was $27 total and took about an hour.

I think Eagle Arms in the Kutztown area will do them for $25.

To Respond to the original Question.. Tom at Berks Firearms handle my lower purchase from PSA back in April. He responded quickly to FB Message and the entire transfer process took approx 10min. 9 of that was me filling out the paperwork. Cost $20 and that was the lowest I had found in the area.

He doesn't have a store but per their website does list item for sale. IF you have an item your interested in I would check their Website or call them to see if it is something they have or can get for you.

    I will use them again.

I just saw your replies, thanks guys. I'm going to go look again. I just read here about berks, I'm going to check them out too. SA is either a rip at $50 or they are trying real hard to discourage riff raff because of old owners aka nutso in lock up.
Does anyone remember the shooting cellar? I recall the owner was killed, but what happened to the range? I went one time. I liked the idea as a home range.
