Where can I get Firearms Safety InstTraining?

Have an interest in becoming an NRA Firearms Safety Instructor and looking for training class in the Harrisburg/Central PA area. Any members know of any instructor-training classes in the area? I am a retired law enforcement officer with 37 years of experience and firearms training/qualification and an NRA member. Thanks in advance.

I had my Basic Pistol Instr. class last year at Hbg Hunters & Anglers. You may want to contact them directly to see if they plan on offering the course again any time soon.

I noticed Centerpoint Safety has some courses scheduled this spring near Bedford.

There are a couple of NRA training counselors at the Pitcarin-Monroeville Sportsman's Club in N. Versailles, Pa. (about 20 min. East of Pittsburgh).

I know last year they ran at least one such course. Check their web site.
