Good universal holster
Does anyone know of a good universal leather holster for owb? I have good leather holsters for each type but I was hoping to find a large frame holster that can hold diverse guns so I don't have to switch holsters all the time, not looking for an uncle mikes. Example of guns, 1911, p227, 92fs, cz. 75, big Glocks. Thanks

I think the closest you're going to come is a Yaqui slide.

Re: Good universal holster
There is no such thing. You are just going to waste more money and you wont be happy with what you get.
Buy a holster that is specific to your Gun, it's also safer and NEVER carry a Glock pistol in a holster that is NOT made for a Glock, read the horror stories on the net of what can and has happened.
If you want a source of Good first class leather holsters for a very good price i recommend www.simplyrugged.com and Ray's holsters at www.shado.com these are first class people who take pride in their stuff and i have been buying from them for years.
Browse the closeout section at simply rugged before you buy you might find something there for like $10 less than their orders .

Re: Good universal holster
Have you ever tried fitting your guns into the holsters you already have? Sometimes a holster for a Beretta 92 works real nice with let's say a MandP full size. The ones I try it with are leather which may make a difference.

Re: Good universal holster
Holsters for men are like shoes for women. I need them to fit correctly, be comfortable, made with quality and have one correct for the occasion.

Re: Good universal holster
What was it Grandpa said? "Do one thing and do it well". A multi-fit holster may hold several pistols, but it won't hold any SECURELY! Secure is the key word when talking about holsters. The very first time that you bend over to tie your shoe in Wal-Mart and your piece goes sliding across the floor past all the fat Wal-Martians and the herd goes screaming for cover, you'll wish you had bought the MOST 'pistol -specific' holster ever made!
