    Question Female CCer's...

I'm looking for an extremely light weight cover-garnment. Maybe a windbreaker type jacket? What are you ladies wearing to conceal lately? NO VESTS! Any suggestions? Thanks!!

I guess it would depend on what I was wearing or what the weather is.

I wear a denim jacket (Levi's trucker), it also serves as a purse being I have not carried a purse in about 18 years. As a matter of fact i'm getting a new one today. Mine is pretty shot!

If i'm going to C/C, I just wear a bigger tee shirt or sweatshirt over the gun, then I don't worry about they type of jacket or coat I wear. Actually I always print no matter what I wear.

At times I O/C, tee shirt tucked in. If its chilly, then its the denim jacket or a nicer sweater, depending on where i'm going.

In the summer months it's whatever I feel like doing. O/C is just O/C. C/C means firearm under the tee shirt.

It seems women have a tougher time concealing their weapons (IWB or small of back) so most wear them OWB. Its uncomfortable to wear the firearm shoved into you're jeans.

Anyway, I guess any garment that covers the firearm will work.

Good Luck and please post again about what you're wearing.

And I bet that the "print" that catches the eye isn't the CC.

Since this is my first summer carrying I'm not sure what I will wear. Most of my clothes are snug so I'm sure I will print at some point or another and I can't pocket carry at all, my pants aren't baggy enough for that. I'm curious what other women wear during the summer to conceal or do they just say F it and OC.

There are fanny packs on the market that have a built-in holster for a small auto.

Good suggestion but I really can't see me wearing a fanny pack and I don't carry a purse. ATM cards, cash and both Licenses in the back pocket, had my purse stolen to many times to ever carry one again. I might just have to steal some of hubbies t-shirts, don't let him know I said that, lol.

I got one of those. Actually they suck for carrying a firearm.
Too much work to get to stay secure, then even more work to get it out. Too many weird velcro straps.

I'm paying attention to this thread as my wife is going to start carrying and we're still working on finding her the right firearm.

I'd rather her not purse carry, but at this point, I don't know what else will work, especially for the summer time.

Has anyone checked out Thunderwear? They have both fanny paks and IWB models.
