I need to go with someone like you. I just don't know enough about prices to find these deals.

You just have to look at everything. You throw out the higest prices and focus on the most common prices. If you see something for 25 to 30 percent lower and it is new or the same condition as the others that would be a good price. Or you could spend a few hours on the web before the shows looking at selling prices like I do. Or you can send me a p.m. before the show and we can meet up at the door. I always like making new friends with common interests. .

Thanks for the complement, I will have some very nice hex Tula ex dragoon MO's in laminated stocks for the march show plus other goodies. hopefully I can tempt you to buy one if not that's ok to, see you there.

Probably the worst Oaks show since I have been attending. Can't wait for the March show!

Glad I passed show up. Went to Ag Hall found a nice S&W model 17 from the 1980.

I too was dissatisfied with the show. I appalled when I saw the $75 22 bulk packs, and the astronomical prices on some of the run of the mill milsurps. It's also quite annoying when the dealers should not allow to dry fire or try the action.

Though to give some of the dealers credit, there were some deals and very nice dealers. However, those tables were usually pretty busy and I ended up leaving empty handed.

This experience definitely shook my confidence in attending the March show. Maybe I'll convince myself to go, but right now I have no intention of going.

I saw a lot more gun buying too. Even very late in the show. Oh, those boxes of 45s I bought for $24 was after tax, $22 before. You can beat the price and convenience.

You're right you CAN beat the price and definite inconvenience of fighting clogged traffic, paying door admission, not to mention all that time and instead buy on-line.

I pay much more to see the animals at the zoo or some bones at the Academy of Natural Sciences. I figure 10 bucks isn't too bad to see some guns I have not seen in person and do some people watching. I like going to the shows because I am a professional browser.
