    Default muzzle brake

Just wondering if anybody has any first hand knowledge of a J P Precision
muzzlebrake/recoil arrestor? the company claims that a .270 winchester can be held 1 inch from your nose and fired. The rifle would only touch the person's nose.
Does anyone know someone who has one of these?

They work. Most of the Open class AR15 shooters I know use them.

One of the best brakes ever.

I taught Chuck Norris to bump-fire.

They work and are loud, what more could you ask for?

All of my experience with muzzle brakes are with the Weatherby Accubrake. I have 2 Accubrake equipped Weatherbys, a .338-378 Accumark, and a Mark V DeLuxe in .460. The Accubrake works unbelievably well. The recoil of the .338-378 is reduced to less than my unbraked .300 Win. Mag. Model 700. The .460 is reduced to about the same level of an unbraked .375 H&H. Without the brake, you don't want to know. Bill T.
