so found a guy on arms list looking to sell his 629. looks to be in stainless and has a lock. comes with some factory ammo and some speed loaders. what do you guys think would be a deal i couldn't refuse for this? what is average and high value? given, estimates are somewhat limited by the pics i have...

Here's my thought being a self-professed Smith revolver guy. First off, the extras don't mean shit to me. I reload and speedloaders aren't all that valuable to me. The gun is the lock type, which I avoid. But, having said that, a deal I wouldn't refuse would be at most $600. Any more and I would be looking for prelock.

I was thinking 650 for a good deal. Seller will probably ask 750.
