Evansburg small game

I am going to be around evansburg state park this weekend and was thinking of taking my son out for some squirrel hunting. Any decent small game up at the park?

Lots of good squirrel hunting....get there by 7:30am and hunt until about 10am....they are most active for the first 2-3 hours after sunrise and then the last 1-2 hours of daylight

Goto hedrick road off of old forty foot road...google it....good luck if you make it out...I may go again tuesday morning if you'd like to meet up....if you goto hedrick road there is a parking lot there...it dead ends...either hunt the woods around the lot or continue walking down hedrick road...cut into the woods on the left hand side....lots of good squirrel if you are quiet and slow

Didn't find any squirrels but got to spend a morning in the woods with my boy. Always a good time, and a beautiful park

Thats one of my best squirrel spots. I went to another really good spot of mone this morning with a few other PAFOA members. There are normally a ton of squirrels running around but there wasnt alot of movement. I think the snow cover really has them staying tight in their holes and nests. If you are ever back in the area on a nice day I promise you'll see squirrel
