Re: Who's had bad experiences with Game Commission Officers?
I was checked 4 times in a week by the same officer.......had to produce ID...state name.....just busting my balls. Each time he acted like he didn't know me.....even when we had the same conversation just two days ago.......long conversations.......

Re: Who's had bad experiences with Game Commission Officers?
Can someone point me to where it spells out the 3/6 capacity rule? I've never heard of this before, and I just spent the last 20 minutes clicking all over the PGC site and haven't found a hint of it.
Hunting, I can understand. But for target shooting? If its a for-real law, its one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of.I carry a gun not to take lives, but to keep mine from being taken.

http://www.pgc.state.pa.us/pgc/lib/p...egulations.pdf
check out the bottom half of the 2nd column of page 2. the very last regulation.
also, it is posted on the sign at the wexford range...though maybe other PGC ranges don't have the rules posted--i dunno.

Wow. One tiny little regulation buried under two pages of dense type.
And the WCO waited in the bushes for 40 minutes documenting this additional 1-round-per-magazine infraction?
Man oh man. What's wrong with people nowadays?I carry a gun not to take lives, but to keep mine from being taken.

Re: Who's had bad experiences with Game Commission Officers?
So...if you have an LTCF, and you are carrying for self defense while hunting on SGL, (which is NOW legal), are you limited to 6 rounds, or does that only apply to shooting ranges on SGL?

I take exception with the max round rule. Even though the PA website says 3/6, the placards on the benches at French Creek say 3....rifle and pistol. We follow the rules and have never had any trouble there. Though the SGL website and actual place should be in agreement.

After stonewalling them a few times I consented just to prove a point.
Their short term gratification which worked out better for me in long term gratification. I did nothing illegal, just made one's life difficult because I was in a position I could, his lesson was learned...I hope.
