Default Anti-Gun Patriot News Playing Game With Poll - Vote Now

The Patriot News has a poll with four possible answers but only one supports the anti-gun agenda and two of the others splits pro 2A votes with the fourth answer being other. It is obviously meant to back the anti-gun agenda.

Take a look and cast your vote.

LMAO. They just added a fifth question to help balance it. Must have had complaints.

Acting Harrisburg Police Chief Thomas Carter told Wednesday’s town hall meeting that gun violence in the city is fueled in part by “straw purchases” of guns – legal buyers who obtain guns for criminals who are not legally permitted to buy or carry them. It’s against the law, but hard to prosecute.

When police discover that a straw purchaser’s gun is used in a crime, the straw buyer can skate by saying “Gee, I lost it,” or “Somebody stole it from me.”

Requiring gun owners to report lost or stolen guns would eliminate that dodge and make it easier to convict straw buyers. However, Pennsylvania law does not require such reports.

Should the Legislature pass a law requiring reports of lost or stolen guns? Vote in the poll.

BTW what ever happened to the much touted STRAW PURCHASE TASK FORCE that was supposed to be run out of the Attorney General's office?

So you have a suspected straw purchaser since you keep on finding guns being bought by him "lost" and ending up at crime scenes. Well I guess it's time to watch the guy and maybe get some video taping of him in the act and you know investigating. I guess police departments around here don't do that kind of thing anymore.
