Anyone need handgun sights installed?
Hello
I have a sight pusher tool (www.sightpusher.com) that can do Glocks, 1911s, XDs, Berettas, and probably many more. However, I have only used it on my Glocks. I have used to put night sights on my Glock 19, 17, and 21. I also have the correct socket tool to install front screw on sights on Glocks.
I'm located in Snyder county (Selinsgrove) and can install your sights. I am not a gunsmith and work on my guns as a hobby. I DO NOT charge for sight installation because I'm offering the service as a courtesy to fellow PAFOA members. However, any donations in money, ammo, parts, etc will greatly be appreciated.
I hope this is ok and not in violation of any COC.
let me know if you are interested.

Re: Anyone need handgun sights installed?
Hi there,
If you were closer, I would consider your offer. If you don't mind me asking, I've been looking at the sight pusher myself to install new sights on my HK USP and S&W Shield, how would you rate the difficulty doing it yourself?
Thanks!
Mike

Re: Anyone need handgun sights installed?
Its not difficult at all. Just make sure you're lined up so that the tool is pushing the sight out straight. I personally give it a few turns, back off, then repeat the process. This way if you are crooked you wont do any significant damage. I believe in a clean 1 time job. So I make sure to clean the dovetail/sight hole with alcohol, wait till dry, then apply red locktite.
I would not recommend using a punch and hammer to get night sights installed. The impact might break the vials holding the tritium. ( Not speaking from experience so YMMV).
Good luck friend
